Our Professional Development Programs (SANYO Academy)

Role-Based Training

Programs have been developed to suit employee needs, based on their roles within the company. They not only cover managerial skills, but personal development topics, as well.

Career-Development Training

We offer approximately 200 courses per year in 13 occupation-based programs, that cover job-specific tasks, provide specialist knowledge, and give technological training.

Departmental Training

These programs aim to improve the work-related skills of the staff at each workplace.

OJT Training

New employees receive 1-year of individualized, on-the-job training from an experienced employee, along with 2 sessions on emotional intelligence, and skill-improvement training.

Distance Education And E-Learning

We offer subsidies covering 1/2 the cost of various skill-development courses.

Free Educational Video/DVD Rentals

To encourage personal growth, 200 titles have been made available to our employees to borrow free of charge.

Career-Advancement Support

We encourage employees to take technical and other certification exams, cover their exam fees and preparatory costs, and reward those who pass.

Personal Growth & Volunteering Leave Program

We actively support skill-building activities and active participation in society, by making it possible for employees to take up to a maximum of 3-years leave for scholarly pursuits.
