The Release of the 92mm Square 25mm Thick Splash proof Fan WP Type "San Ace W"
SANYO DENKI CO., LTD. has developed the 92mm square 25mm thick waterproof fan WP type, "San Ace W" Designed for use with solar inverters, outdoor equipment and various types of manufacturing equipment, the new model becomes available on April 4, 2007.
This cooling fan maintains stable operation in harsh environments where the fan is exposed to direct water jets from all angles.

This fan maintains stable operation in harsh environments where the fan is exposed to direct water jets from all angles.
2. Lightweight
This fan has utilizes a resin frame with a weight of about 120g, achieving approx. 40% weight reduction compared to the approx. 190g aluminum frame of our conventional product * Note1.

This grade of protection against environmental hazards is defined by both JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) C0920, "Degrees of Water-proofing and Protection against the Ingress of Solids for Electromechanical Devices" and IEC 529,2Degrees of Protection by Enclosures(IP code)."
IP: "IP 55" designation for the San Ace WP Line of W Series DC Fan Motors indicates the following degree of protection:
5: Dust-resistant device: Designates a rotating device with resistance to harmful dust ingress (dust protected)
5: Jet-proof device: Designates a rotating device with protection against water jets from any direction
