Sanyodenki Co., Ltd. has developed the world's smallest AC servomotor "SANMOTION R" Motor size is reduced by 30% compared to currnet models and the power range is expanded by as much as 26%.
The product is available in seven flange sizes from 40mm to 80mm. It is scheduled for release on October 23, 2006
Features of the new motors include higher torque, reduced motor speed ripple, and reduction in motor size of up to 30% compared to current models.
Available in seven flange sizes from 40mm to 80mm, with rated output from 30W to 750W.
The newly redesigned magnetic circuitry delivers higher instantaneous stall torque and rotation speed for a wider power range. Maximum instantaneous stall torque *1is improved by 5% to 26%, and maximum rotation speed is increased from 5000 rpm to 6000 rpm.
*1 Stall torque: the power required to rotate and stop the motor instantaneously.
